What do I do when my employee leaves?
If an employee leaves Wagestream, the most common reasons are
-
They have left the business or have been terminated, Wagestream should be informed of this through the employee data that is exchanged.
-
They have opted out of the service. The employee no longer wishes to use Wagestream, usually because they have improved their financial resilience and no longer see a need for the product.
The below illustration shows how this works when you have integrated with Wagestream through any of our integration methods.
Data Output Example
The below table Scenario: An employee is leaving the organisation and the off-boarding process has started
employee_id | bank_sort_code | bank_account_number | bank_name | enrolled_on | action | unenrolled_on |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
0001 | 040004 | 12345678 | Monzo | TO_UNENROLL | 2021-11-04 |
This data will inform your systems that the employee should no longer receive Net pay to their unique Wagestream account, instead it should now be transferred to their high street bank. This data will also be present when an employee is opting out of the service or has been forcibly disabled.
